Crystal 12/27 was created by Scotsman
One of the finest resort skiing days I've had a Crystal.
Lapping the unpopulated fringes with PNWBrit(banned) and Oftpiste.
Hooked up with some lady rippers for the afternoon session.
Certain areas had knee deep powda.
Kudos to Crystal for getting that Gondi started early.
Traffic Report: Passenger today but the drive up was uneventful at about 5 mph below speed limit with everybody behaving. Left at 3:30 ish and there was a car in the ditch on 410 causing some delays.

Agreed ....lots of areas had knee deep PowDa.And what about those "holiday crowds" ...there weren't any...I had a Gaper moment @ 6 when I exclaimed with disbelief, " is south open? " at one pm. It is a testament to amount of lay about pow, that I hadn't even thought about it.....by the way ,south was Epic

Seems like most Crustal denizens stayed closer to home today to lap the padded seats. I guess that's what happens when Alpental's reporting a foot of new at the top vs. Crystal's 3" this morning

Yes, they were all in line at Chair 2 until about noon, then they all went looking for soup (easy to find on upper Nash).

Indeed. One of the finest days I've skied in the PNW in a long time. The powder reminded me of my Telluride days. Scottsman--It's always knee deep, when I'm dropping a knee. Riding the skis I designed and built with Kam last year, throwing bow wakes off the knee, no lift lines to be had, this gal was grinning ear to ear all the way home! Thanks Crystal!

Hi Sheispiste, Long time no see. Glad you had a great day and are still skiing using the dark arts of telemark. Sorry I missed you.
If you had hooked up with our crew we would have had an Oftpiste and a Sheispiste on our team.
Next time!
