Lordy the withdrawl symptoms were getting pretty intense…Better now…but what a day…totally nasty white out foggy wet on the goggles this morning for the first run…ouch!...But life got better – though never perfect today. Moments of good vis in places during some runs in my lazy day skiing from LS to the Valley to MIFB (plus one run down Rolling Noll on my lazy return from CB lodge late morning). Snow quality on the groomers I did was pretty nice up top, not sticky, kinda left over corny, but off piste was a whole different world…looked pretty good and smooth and untracked when you could see it…but kinda sticky heavy and definitely not prim BMW skiing conditions..dang should have taken the Coombas – they would have expanded my ski lines and more than likely been very happy… So bottom line – fair good snow on the groomers when you could see them, kinda challenging conditions off piste (Coombas will be way ready tomorrow), saved a lot of fav lines for first thing tomorrow, very sticky off the wrong places down low when I was finally leaving. Did a couple of T2B runs for the days finish (accidentally) when I noticed a totally empty Bucket line and got sucked in for the first ride on the Gondy since I don’t know when…nice walk around ride in the white out conditions…the shack in my hands has gone away (plus the twitch in my right eye)…praise the white world. Only two days left! And they should be pretty happy sweet!
Other – Big Bonus of the day was the extra nice bowl of Chicken Noodle I had for lunch! The CB lodge folks where very nice to me (probably cause there aren’t to many days left the have to put up with me). Parking in the A lot was pretty typical…spaced on what happened in the B lot when I left…..but there were not many folks on the slopes. Heard good things about times during the last few days…and at times I saw that it could have been fun!
Other other – Glad the mountain biking season finally kicks into gear next Monday…will help with the eye twitch! Nice Tax almost day….Thankyou DC for the extension…
