Another Primo spring day, a little cooler, a few more folks around, a lot more skin showing (especially at the base – some pretty nice bikini’s packaging some very nice bodies), pretty nice grooming on LS, the Valley bowl and MIFB – all soft enough to be happy first thing this morning. Based on yesterday I did BP’s a way lot earlier…still soft and since it didn’t have much traffic I spent the rest of the day having fun on LS bumps after I did PB…PB!!!! Very nice skier right side off the spine first time up (9:30ish?) and only got better every time I did it…Hamster treadmill was in full gear…till late morning when FQex shut down for a half hour plus to change out a sheave on one of the towers…really quiet up in Campbell Basin when FQex is not running…allowed me enough time to socialize and actually do a run in the Basin – very soft and would have been a great place to stay if not for PB! Definitely slowed down the treadmill for a while. Coombas where happy again today with a new coat of wax. Didn’t notice much sticky problems today…always the test case is going from the bottom of REX to FQex…my allocated time gave out before that path got to sticky. Great day, bigger crowds, but no lift lines where I went. More dirt showing in places (top of HC is getting rockier). Yee Haa! Sadly only 8 days left!
Other – Soup at CB lodge was the Triple C again (didn’t have any today…not enough time). Parking in A lot was pretty typical, though the pay part was getting close to full, B maybe half full, C maybe ¾’s. Big crowd at the base partying and watching the fun on Gold Hills…as noted a lot of skin showing at the base…live music and probably way to much fun happening…Crystal got lucky with great weather today.
