We had a late start but received our MAX Pass freebies.  The snow pack was corn.  We followed the sun and moved to the next trail that was groomed and soft. The ungroomed trails did not look like fun, and there was no one on the ungroomed.  We could see the storm approaching as the Summit lift became covered by the storm. We decided to make one last run – big mistake.  We got on the Pine Martin lift and within 30 seconds we felt rain drops that quickly became a downpour, with rain low and half way up to the mid station it was snowing. We got to the base and everyone was heading to their vehicles.  We looked at each other and said “that last run was not nice”.  We never ski in the rain, unless the storm arrives before we think it will!
