Another great day of uncrowded skiing on excellent snow. It's cold, but worth it as the snow is staying so nice. Today was not a powder day, but with the first full day of good visibility in a while, there was still some soft snow to be found on the lifts. Short hikes led to light, untracked spots.
Sometimes I almost forget what a big mountain Whistler really is. I was having a beer at Seppo's right at 3:00. I ran over to Peak and took a 5,000 foot nonstop to the valley and then rode the Gondo up for another 3,800', 7 minute rip to Creekside. In 45 minutes I had topped off my day with almost 9,000 feet of good skiing! What a place....
