Big Sunny, Big Cold, not to Big Crowd early – but it did show up during the 10 to 11 rush. Groomers fast and fun early, anything off the groomers was cut up yesterday, PB was great nice left over deep in the center of the bowl, BP’s skier left was pretty happy 98% of the time (every once in a while you can manage to find a nasty icy patch). Last of the Doors was doable and got down right spring soft in the hot late morning sun – as did Sunnyside and Memorial Forest – will not be pretty when it completely sets up tonight (was already firming up when the sad early afternoon low clouds moved in). Crowd not to bad most of the time where I was….REX reasonable in the singles line, FQex was a pain during the late morning rush hour, HC mellow till some short random bulge (everyone thought South was finally open? Saw folks on the King way early today).
Other – Soup at CB lodge was Garden Vegy (did look full body good). Gondy line was way to big early and also way even bigger when I left (no line on CHex when I left). Pay lot almost full, B C D and E all packed full. Newly tuned and edge sharpened BMW’s were very happy today (as I was – not unusual). Another very fine Sunny Sunday in what has turned out to be a very fine January.
Other other – Maybe BINX will give us a report about were he was today? Did see him up on the top of Chair 6 at least once….
