Getting across the cascades was more complicated than usual, and Snoqualmie and Stevens seemed cool enough for fresh snow not rain, but I soldiered on to the fresh 12" at Mission for my first lift visit there ever, arriving afternoon despite jtack's warning that "It is pretty skied out and not ageing well." Sounded a bit like my body, but we still got a few soft buttery untracked runs thanks to his excellent guiding. French fries, beer, and happy people in the bar were fun too! Rain began around 4pm, tomorrow needs cooler weather.
