Yeeeee Haaaaa! Gotta say that there is not much better than a BIG sunny Seahawk Sunday! Light early crowd, light mid day crowd, light afternoon crowd…dang! BIG sun and BIG views and BIG everything fun! Early morning screamers on perfect groomers, intermixed with work out PB/BP/OF runs…plus much happy bump runs in the Valley from center bowl (very nice) to Grubstake that all finished with fun on Ann’s run. Did a number of runs on Sunnyside – got better and better but still the workout run of the day. By far the biggest improvement over the last week was PB! Rocky and nasty getting off the very top (depending on your line) to nice carveable bumps to screamer smooth perfect styro smooth groomed (?) in the middle to – finally – nice enough stuff at the bottom (at least for me)….and then BP’s and OF’s – happy in the sun (or shade for OF). Since not many folks showed up today there were no lift lines and no standing around time…wore myself out pretty fast and kinda early (save a little for tomorrow). Gotta say I’m looking forward to skiing while the Seahawks play their next game.
Other – Soup at CB lodge was White Bean with Chicken? (maybe?) Pretty empty when I passed though there.
Other Other – Parking pretty typical in the A lot, with C sorted full and B kinda 2/3’s or so…definitely not a typical Sunday crowd…especially based on the holiday zoo.
