Day started casual with not many early morning folks, kinda grey, kinda warm at the base and kinda nasty for the first half hour or so…freezing nasty foggy mist! First run down Lucky was one of the worst runs I’ve had in who knows how many years…But things improved, vis got better, freezing mist went away. Had fun from Grubstake to MiddleIceFergBerg to M-World, Sunnyside, multiple Doors, PowderBowl and Bearpits to a few slots up in Campbell Basin. Snow didn’t get to impacted from the frozen fog. No lift lines anywhere early, especially on REX and HC. When I passed through FQex there was a big cluster, but the patrol was doing the counting and math for the folks in the lift line.
Other – Soup was Corn and Green Bisque???? hhhmmm Big crowd standing around the base when I left. No CHex line, but the Gondy had a fair sized lineup. Pay lot made some effort today, rest of A, B and C lots all full? Lordy that’s a pretty good sized crowd even if it is a holiday week. Fun day on the BMW’s. Groomers I did where nice and smooth early, off piste was happy skiing.
