Great day to be at Alpental. and no lift lines. Heard a lot of complaints about Saturday. Elevator gate opened at 9:00 am sharp. First run was down rope line. The top section was fresh and deep. Lots of pouchers from Saturday so the lower section was well skied. Second run was Gun Barrel lots of fresh but lots of holes. Beware of tree wells, worst hazard I have seen in years with all of the new snow. Visited Rocks Off dropped on over the top not the usual entrance for skiers. Nice not to be on the cliff line definitely not for the weak of heart though. Top to bottom was great but not a lot of fresh. Hit the Meadows and finished the day thru Heavenly Trees which was a great way to end the day. Getting to Heavenly Trees was a challenge but well worth it. The back did not like the 15 ft cliff I managed to ski off. But 10 minutes in the inversion table and 20 minutes in the massage chair eased the back pain and leg numbness. Should be as good as new tomorrow. Did not think I would still be doing this at age 60. Will up again on Tuesday to celebrate a buddies 60th B Day Hope the Nash gate is open. Stokes to Wall Street would be sweet.
