Summit Central, December 26, 2015

We were planning to ski at East but the “delay start” meant a couple hours. We drove into and out of the Silver Fir parking lot.  The lift was not moving at 8:30am and the chairs were still full of a foot of snow.  Alpine was moving and loading at 9am.  The groomers were in great shape and it was powdery. There was a cloud cover that was still there when we left at noon. Central was not crowded.  We could see a couple of East trails and there was no one there.  We drove to East but the cars backed up to the homes.  We decided to go home.  From I-90 we could see East lift was not loading and saw a couple of skinners on the Face trail. It was great to see the Summit back in business
