Western CO getting the goods! was created by TonyM
Crested Butte, CO, but representative of most of CO for this storm system.  The pic below was taken looking North towards Gothic/Paradise divide.  CO is getting a ton of snow, making up for out lite Nov/Dec.

Today (before this pic which was taken 12-21/yesterday), we received another 12+ inches and it's snowing heavily still.

Hey Zap- recall you like Wolf Creek... they are blessed or something! While we have a 50 inch +/- base at the resort, WC has something like 150! Lake Irwin (appx 8 miles west of CB), and home to Eleven, has about the same as WC (higher, catches a bunch more snow). Good news if you have a sled, you can access the Irwin area quickly from the winter TH just out of CB. But the avy situation is intense to be sure.

Red Lady bowl (Mt Emmons), the peak just behind / nw of town, ripped yesterday ... all of it. So maybe 500-1000+ yards wide and hard to say how far it ran.

We're to get another 10+ next 24 hours (24th/25th). Perfect light 'utah' (ha) powder. Nice at the resort when its on/when the BC is too dangerous.
