One of the best days I can remember at Crystal. Promise finally came thru with pass holders loading at 8:30 on Gondy. Wind was severe at summit (50-60 mph)and limited visibility for first few runs. The new snow was almost knee deep due to wind loading and overnight accumulation. Headed to Queen with my wife at 9:30 and was going to relax with her but when we got to C basin chair 6 was open !!! No one was there except myself and about 6 others. Wonderful conditions under the chair on all the chutes. Kudos to the guy who skied the rock half way up, launched and stuck the landing. Skied 6 til lunch then had to go to Northway and get some more freshies. Penny Dawgs and Puckers were great all afternoon with pockets of knee deep pow everywhere. Clouds lifted for awhile with minor sun breaks. Lifties were the best I have seen in years on all chairs-cleaning seats ,friendly and generally seemed happy. Patrol did a great job opening as much as possible. Encountered some minor sliding on chair 6 and NW in steeper areas of 6-10". It was enough to possibly knock you down if you weren't aware. Recovery day to day and back at it later this week.

It was difficult to take Pics or Vids in the big storm, but there was a short photo worthy sucker hole in the afternoon.
Here are a few images from the day.

I was very happy to have been buddying with an attentive partner. The snow was so deep off piste that is was very difficult to extricate oneself after a fall.

The drive home was epic with snow all the way Issaquah. There were multiple cars and trucks in the ditch or blocking the road.  A downed tree was partially blocking  highway 410.
