December 12, 2015 Stevens Pass

I talked Myikat into abandoning Crystal and meeting up for Stevens.  Low traffic, got away from the car by 9, Big Chief (AKA Kehr's) opened right as he bought his pass. We were about 5th on the chair for the season and we got 5-6" fresh or leftovers for 6 runs. 
Then we retrieved our packs and went off the back side on Gemini to the Powerlines area.  The cat road was dangerously rutted but avoidable.  Skin tracks led from the base of Jupiter. Creek crossings on lower Mill Valley will be dicey for a few more days yet, on the way up or down.
We ended up on Skyline for an early exit as the snow got heavier. Base coverage was better than expected, and the new snow was more than expected.
99 months of TAY---I'm almost a triple-figures ol' goat!
