About a foot new or more on the wind loaded sides of the mountain, but it started raining hard on it shortly after opening, and it was already as wet of snow as you can get. This kept the crowds sparse, and the mank all mine. Stayed on Emerald the whole day, skiing Ratfink several times, then Hiking up the cat track toward Harmony bowls and doing 4 laps down those nice steeps, and then the steep drop right down to Harmony chair which was closed all day.
Saw only a couple people throughout the whole day hitting these lines, understandably with how sticky it was. I am on Praxis reverse sidecut, full reverse cambered skis. They only touch at about 8 inches in the middle. This makes the wet snow full workable, and really fun when it gets extra steep, with step downs and pillow lines you can hop through. Actually got in 5 hours of very untracked "snow".
