Great last day, great sun, great sun soft cord on the groomers early, great soft bumps earlier than yesterday, great light early crowd that greatly increased pretty much through the morning and made for a lot of happy social activity at the bottom of GV most of the day till early afternoon when things really started to mellow out – might have been the random unexpected random (sorry already used that word) Bikini Downhill Salome event that was still getting started and worked up when I finally bailed at 2:30 or so….Gotta been a pretty big party down loading (right now still?). Fun day, all the hardcore folks showed up for last day and partying! It’s a lot more obvious when the party spots are kinda limited. And the party was still going strong when I left.
Other – The barbeque at the old Weather Station smelled very nice, as did the mass of partying going on. Lift lines felt kinda painful for hamster skiing…but still fun. A parking lot did get full today with only a little overflow beyond?
Other – Had my BIGGEST by far yard sale blow up on Grubstake – one missed bump turn and I managed to get some response from the folks on the lift that noticed the carnage. Thanks Neil for picking up most of the missing pieces. Thanks to all the fun folks that put up with me today. Thanks for the three shovels of snow into my chest when I was loading the chair at the bottom of GV. Thanks for the never ending spring ski season we had. Thanks for the pleasure to get another day on the snow (with high speed lifts to make the uphill part easier). Thanks Crystal for closing…so I can go back to Whistler! Have a great summer all!. Yeee Haaa...Wooo Hooo....
