16" in the last 24 and a leisurely load time for first chair - what more can you ask for?! An early chair on 7th Heaven certainly would be too much, but alas it was so and we slayed top to bottoms a half-dozen times before it was chopped to bits. A hearty lunch afforded us the energy to make it to the top of Cowboy proper where we found some great untracked lines into the bowls below. Finished the day off with a few laps through the park, which had received little action since it required quite a bit of effort and even a little XC snowboarding to get to. No features are currently installed (nor are there plans for any to be), but the knuckles of the former jump line afforded air time into knee-deep 'taters.

Minimal, selective grooming made for fun turns in the morning but lots of work in the afternoon. Keep your tip(s) up, the sharks are out and the snow snakes are just waiting to snag you. Made turns in all three chutes back to 7th Heaven (Nancy, Bobby and Solitude) for the first time this season, but the traverses through the woods between them are brutal - Solitude is best accessed from the ridgetop (a theory we confirmed in the afternoon).

Gitcha goomsba up!

I didn't hear about the Stevens opening until I was buying a $35 pass at Crystal!
I missed a good day but skied Crystal for the first time in 3 years---about 1/3 of what Stevens got but still April turns.
