Another Hamster winter/spring day in the Valley, fairly light crowd, fairly cold all day, fairly breezy in various places and various directions, fairly “BIG” sunny all morning (where did that come from? Didn’t expect it), fairly (mostly all – okay everyone that suffered listening to me) happy crowd suffering the fairly lucky day on the slopes (not many left at Crystal anyway – still lots of rumors about last day?), fairly (okay not just fairly) impressive lines skied in PB yesterday afternoon (looked really pretty in the nice early sun, riding up the bucket), lots of incredibly fairly awesome nice screamer “BIG” groomer runs – pretty much everywhere all over the Valley – those two cat drivers have way to much time at night! (gotta cut back on their hours, but okay they are doing a fairly incredibly nice job). Fairly reasonably sized crowd – wasn’t totally solo, so had to be nice and work what line happened – fairly terrible minute or so waits every once in a while (and all gone by noon). Didn’t blow up today in Ann’s runs and those nasty icy bumps are pretty perfect now (not sure about who ever cut the bump line in? Some of them are kinda nasty quick!) Had big fun chasing the Ferk again today (and the Ferd also) and lots of other folks - kike Mr Keith(grumpy never ending stories!) - great really really really old skier on 2X4's who really really really knows how to turn!
Other – No clue on soup today. Fairly small early crowd for the bucket up load. Pay lot fairly nice and small, rest of A got fairly full by the time I left (folks still up loading – okay it was fairly early also…like 1pm – I didn’t want to break the 100 runs in three days barrier). Fun day as usual for the Hamster crowd (all the folks that cant remember the last run long enough to get bored!). Brown snow is starting to pop out in places, don’t remember seeing many rocks that I shoulda worried about. Crystal will not be closing early this season for lack of snow in the Valley – its still a whole lot better now than June 1’st last year ( but that was a nice day – I’m fairly sure of, if I could remember it). The BMW’s are holding up this season “fairly” nicely. Sorry I had another very nice BIG day! (in the hamster treadmill).
