Not there but heard from reliable friend that the alpine is great! He said 15" of new around cockalorum and surprisingly 8" around symphony.

Three more sources confirmed excellent "best ever" type conditions in the Alpine yesterday. Warming up however - but then getting colder again. Considerable avy danger all weekend.
