March 15, 2015 Snowbasin, UT was created by Zap
It took 25 minutes to drive from Ogden to the resort. It was a big race day for juniors of all ages. Most racers had backpacks almost half their height. It was enjoyable to see the parents and their kids
with some great colored outfits. The racers had their area and we had 90% of the rest of the area with few other skiers/boarders.

It was a beautiful sunny day with spring conditions when the lifts started to run at 9am. We quickly got to the Strawberry Express gondola and it was deserted. The wind started rising after 2 hours, and they closed the gondola due to wind – we were the last riders up. It is unusual to be the last person on the slope and to carve some large GS lines without worry. By 12:30pm it was time to stop as the snow was getting really soft and our quads and butts were getting sore!

We heard about their new partnership with Sun Valley and the planned expansion over the next couple of years. With our Timberline Powder Alliance passes we received free tickets here. Another great spring skiing day.

Hi Zap. Sounds like you are having a nice time. Marilyn just discovered the Collective Passes are on sale and are selling very fast. Sun Valley is now a part of the plan. If you buy today you get one extra day FREE at any of the areas. If you're getting this for next year probably should do it today.

Eric
