We arrived the afternoon of the 12th and parked about 30' from the only lift. The parking area has electrical poles that you can plug into for free for your RV. There were about 8 folks who work for the area and live there in RVs or trailers. They were the groomers, liftees, rental and food people. Nice folks.
The lift tickets were $35 are me and Jill's was free -70 years old with a great smile.
All the runs were groomed, except the black runs. They have 900vt. They had a large group of AT&T folks working on a communication site near the summit. A group of backcountry skiers were skinning up the Road Run for access to the area where the Cat Skiing groups go. We met a Ski Patroller on the lift who said the runs were “powder” last weekend. Today the skiing was in perfect spring conditions. We just followed the sun. There were only a few customers. We had a , mellow day.
