3/11/15 Whistler

Tough day on the mountain today with fog and rain on the bottom, and off and on visibility at the top. The much anticipated snow hasn't accumulated into anything more than half an inch yet. Snow quality was good enough for the limited speeds the visibility let you go. Creekside pictured below. When you live for skiing powder, trees, steeps, and bumps it's hard to be very enthusiastic about a day like today. For a skier who likes soft snow and groomers -  you could have had a ball today at mid mountain with all lifts running except a few worthless ones. I never say this, but Blackcomb did seem to be more cloud free every time I looked over there. Praying for snow.
