Is 3/7 special?....hhhhmm....Another day, same as all the other sunny spring days – other than it being a Saturday and the CMAC racer crowd showing up and plugging up the center of GV very early and most of the day (kept me away from GVex till early afternoon for the bump slush cup). Spent the early morning screaming down the Lucky groomer fest…then around 10am PB called again and as every sunny day at the beach Mr JD’s slot (between 2 and 3 torches) was primo and sadly for me sucked me into it multiple times again today (yes I am a lazy wimpy hamster sometimes…maybe mostly). Rocks popping out more in places, still doable off the top of HC – but lots of folks were working (walking) hard. Lucky bumps from Windy Pass and the steep pitches down low soft and fun and getting dicey down low. Gandy’s was again the best way to the base of REX. Sticky nasty slow snow from REX to FQex kept me away from that after the early morning PB frenzy. Crowd on REX was not to bad, heard the Valley was busy early, but mid day lunch time Grubstake bumps and Ann’s run were pretty primo.
Other – CB soup was not an option again today? Huh? Crowd light, food even lighter mid day. Pay lot sort of small and full of poachers when I left. No buses in the big space for them. Rest of A lot full, couple of rows in B and C was fairly full??? Another Huh? Another nice day in the sun, got warmer today, more Hawaii Beach shirts out. Heard Crystal was gonna have a very late party up top with a late download…would have been fun. Looks like tomorrow will be the last “BIG” day of the sunny weather pattern (and more importantly Crystal lift operations)…So looks like The King and at least Hourglass will have to happen tomorrow before easy wimpy lift access is gone. Party on the King?
