Aaaaahhhh….based on all the copyrighted and trademarked terminology recently posted…and since I don’t want to infringe and get sued for abnormal opinions….what was today…gonna have to pull out the dictionary to find the “correct” and appropriate words to describe the pleasure and happiness being displayed by all the really really old folks (even older than me, plus a few young 20 somethings…maybe even some 40’ers!). Everyone I talked to…almost everyone suffered me at some point on the GV lift….all were very “happy”. Today had very adequate grooming, fairly firm early, but primo conditions as the morning progressed, warmest day of the last three (dressed for cold, rapidly shed layers – could have been a Hawaii shirt day this afternoon). Pretty perfect smooth softening bumps to primo carving corn with the bonus of short high speed sunny drops on some of the runs…great big nasty firm icy dropper bumps in Anns Trees! I really do like big smooth nasty icy bumps…especially with the BMW’s! Since it was a so sad suffered day in the Valley…no rocks, plus no lines, plus no winds, plus warm temps, plus…oh no…used that plus word to many times…..
Other – Soups at the top were Clams and I think some kind of Roasted Pepper Fennel thing? Heard some about other nice expensive good food…(editorial – no cheep food places open on the mountain and they can not provide some easy old folks reasonable food at the top!), plus reserved seating outside (it was very pleasant out there looking out into the far distance…BIG????? hhhhmmm….sorry slipped up). Other info, Pay lot to big at 8:15 and equally empty when we left at 2:30. Rest of A did not come close to full. Base lodge locked up tight today…brownbag area is definitely a dark hole. Did I have a really good time today – other than hiking #1’s skis up to the Gondy twice today…yes I did! What else would you expect? Duh! Hey John...didnt have to do the check check routine again...how lucky!
