"Open For Business" was the motto of my home state when I was still a juvenile... and even they have better skiing conditions than us and they're south of the Mason-Dixon line :'(

^^^^ Agreed. The reports right now are so funny. How can you not just simply say "be careful, we are only open because we are addicts and need it and because we have that stupid 100 day guarantee".

I skied Alpental Friday and Saturday in the rain. Yeah, the rain sucked, but the skiing was actually pretty good. It was steep and challenging. Nash to Lower I was excellent. I get tired of these people that complain the ski area is open.The ski hill has done an awesome job keeping the slopes open with such a minimal snow pack. For you slackers complaining about not getting full value for your paltry price pass, piss off. Kudos to the resorts for doing their best to deal with the lack of snow.

Kind of aggro there bro. Who said anyone was complaining. Sure we are happy it's at least open, but than not. But no lipstick. And btw - thanks for letting me know that Alpental is steep, haven't noticed after 40 years.
