Anyway - Another day, another big sunny day, another day in the Hamster treadmill….Crowd was lighter than yesterday – though I skied with more people that I know than normal (Fireman was back on the slopes and racing to the next fire was pretty intense today. Also was skiing with Mr Ferk - ouch those two just about wore me out). Grooming early was great again today, Valley and Lucky both high speed screaming fun – and with no one around it was still screaming fun when I left. Poked a few times into SunnySide – good enough but could have used just a little more heat. GV bowl and MiddleIceFerkBerg was again a great combo (skier right in the Plunge). Did the pass through CB lodge late morning and a PB run right after – pretty nice and carveable – especially way skier right side. Did a few other lines in odd places – nothing to really get exited about.
Other - CB lodge pretty empty with no “real” food again today (No Soup for Me). Pay lot was really way to big with extra space for buses that did not show up today. Rest of A lot did not get full again today – so sad. Big nice sun all day, no lift lines, more rocks in places, but the grooming that Crystal has been doing on Lucky has been pretty impressive. Snow coverage up in the Valley is holding up great, the sheet of ice is getting deeper from the snow making at the top of GV chair – skied pretty nice this afternoon. Fun day as usual.
