check check test test ? Why now????? no clue......anyway....Didn’t expect a lot, but also expected a lot! And today produced a lot….not many “real” skiers/snowborders on the slopes today. Jumped on the first CHex chair at 8:55 (after a lot of lift opp greif) and after I passed through that was the line up of the day. Never saw a line, didn’t really see a lot of folks on the lifts today. Groomers early were awesome (for the folks that like high speed empty pretty perfect groomers). Lucky early, Valley great with mid Valley center slot groomed – freefall fast and fun. Ann’s run was pretty perfect again today (should have mentioned it last week….dang), great bumps, great tree slots, just great fun (sorry Ann). Finally started to ski Valley bowl and IceFerkBerg late morning. Ouch fun! Mid day checked out CB Lodge – dead and nothing happing – but great Beer selection – all my fav’s. Finally did PB around Noon – pretty workable, if anybody had been around could have done it again….but REX and The Valley and IceFerkBerg called….and that was the afternoon Hamster treadmill run! Valley happy carveable with the primo edge sharp AfterShocks and IceFerkBerg was just “right” soft enough fun.
Other – Pay lot small and still empty, front row of the free lot and when I left at 2pm the A lot was not full. Made my first 40 plus k day….and even though early on it was a lot of screaming fast groomer runs…most of the day was packed pow/packed slush fun bumps….got a few great runs with Robert (lift opp snowboarder) a really great carving bump border!.....A lot of the day was chasing Mr Ferk!!!! How old? Dang me fun chasing him. Fun fun fun day….No soup today – CB lodge food closed down today and tomorrow….Big sun early, a little grey later, but just enough sun to make today fun!!!
