Great day, bigger sun from the start, actual grooming of some slopes – big ones for me early was a couple on Lucky and a number of high speed downhill runs through Pro Course to MiddleIceFerkBerg! Great fast fun on the newly edged Coombas. Sunny slopes got softer earlier, shady slope firmed up fast and some never really got soft even with the balmy temps – PB was not as nice today the one time I did it. HC was a lot of fun for a number of cycles – smooth soft and untracked. Spent most of the mid day early afternoon between REX chair line and Sunnyside – all good and fast, though getting narrower on some slots and rockier on others. Full on Hawaii shirt day from early on. No crowds, no lift lines, no lift problems on those I rode. Great day for the Hamster.
Other – Big day at CB lodge….Chicken Noodle soup and it was great (maybe not as good as Dino’s, but still mighty fine). Pay lot was big and pretty full when I left – don’t think all those cars were pay folks….rest of A lot full and that was about it. Great driving with not much traffic. Great big fun in the sun day….hopefully another tomorrow….if you don’t have fresh pow there is nothing better than big sun and soft slush!
