Though again unadvertised by their weather forecasters, there was new snow again today - especially in the Alpine. Bad visibility for those who cared in the morning kept everyone out of the Alpine - and there were no lines at all. Snow stopped and visibility returned in the afternoon. As it was a powder day, I ate a cold sandwich in the wind for lunch, and enjoyed it. Good snow in sheltered areas. Whistler Bowl very weird to get into as the cornice thing is still a problem. The Bowl and Shale Slope skied great. Creekside ski out still not in as their snowmaking guns haven't been working and they won't tell us why. I skied down anyway with a solid 2 inches of coverage the last few hundred feet of vertical. A very good day with more snow coming tonight and then some sunshine for a few days. I can't give a soup report - but the beer at Seppo's was good and cold as always! Fresh groomer tracks for the ski down! Photo is of my oldest daughter Claire up from Santa Cruz in the Symphony Zone.

After getting to Harmony fairly early Symphony still hadn't opened up yet so we skied a few powder laps and then went over before it was open again and got another powder groomer. Fora a couple of kids from Santa Cruz this was heaven!
