Warm and sunny on top with fog on the lower mountain. Freeze thaw conditions today made for icy conditions except at the very bottom. Good powder in the Alpine for those ready to hike. Big storm coming with snow level uncertain.

Lots of work being done in the Alpine. Very clear that the upper mountain will open this weekend, if this storm pans out and gives snow from the Midstations on up. Snow-forecast.com calls for snow. Whistler Blackcomb's Alpine report keeps going back and forth with their freezing level. Keeping fingers crossed.
