Had low expectations so started late. Raining in Valley, but wet snow from mid up. Fine powder up top if you hike - but tough visibility. Normally at Whistler the rule is to stay high for the best snow - but today it was a bit scraped off and icy around the Roundhouse and Rendezvous. The best skiing was on the lower mountain and it skied and felt like a nice spring day with very carvable semi soft snow. They have ropes up saying it's not recommended...which keep the traffic down. It was really perfect snow and even had some sunny breaks in the afternoon with good visibility. The future is very uncertain and the forecast changes drastically every 12 hours! Snow-forecast.com looks like we have over 3 feet coming by Thursday. Whistler Blackcomb is saying we might drown on Tuesday!
