Saturday morning the summit was visible with high clouds overhead. Great soft snow on the mile from the week of snow. Clouds moved in quick and light snow mixed with sun in a battle through the rest of the day.
The snow won and by Sunday morning winter returned to Mt. Hood. A fresh blanket started below silent rock. Snow persisted all day Saturday refilling everything. A great lower mountain day. This may have been our last chance on Molly's for the year and kids of all ages were taking full advantage of the soft landing in huck bowl.

Yesterday was so great up there. I skipped lunch (and water) all day in order to keep skiing - felt like I was borderline hallucinating by the end, but in a good way!
You weren't the guy in the vanegan by any chance?

So sweet indeed. At one point I wondered if I was hallucinating but everyone else seemed to be having the same experience. A van would fit my handle better but that wasn't me ^, I'll send you a PM. Cheers!
