Mt bachelor..April 25

7 new on top not much at the base, but way colder and great vis. Some days are a gift and this was one a great one ,totally awesome up top and no crowd . I skied about 10 laps on the Northwest Express and they were all really clean and cold and sunny and great and its April 25th .Just after 1 pm I skied something way out there in a direction off the cone that I had not skied,fallowed a set of tracks to get there and I was the 3rd set in that short bowl a long catch road out and that was last chair called ......totally fresh at 1 something ......and totally happy to be hitting it.................In a non skiing related story, I don't know if anyone else knows this ,but theres a couple of bars in bend that sell beer of a quality that makes you want to drink more than the normal amount. Luckily the mountain closes at 2 so you never have to own up to how tired you might be ....good night
