Very nice sunny start to the day, end of season light crowd, arrived late and still got on an empty CHex chair. Groomers started out soft enough and got better, some winds kept the top a little cool and slowed the real melt, but by 11am the front side of REX was very doable. Late morning run up to CB lodge for the mandatory soup, pleasant and quiet. Back to the Hamster runs on REX, had fun skiing with John – let him do the brain job of picking the next run for a while. Nice early morning skiing with the Ferks and a little in the afternoon. Only sad thing was the clouds blew in from the north and started slowing the melt – not to much, but….Looked like it was clearing up again when I left. Nice soft snow everywhere, a little sticky down low when I was leaving.
Other – Soup at CB lodge was the usual, and it was very good. A lot pretty full with some overflow towards the C lot. Another great fun day.
