Northway opened reasonably on-time this AM and the conditions were quite good: 12+" of soft unconsolidated under a slightly denser veneer. Solar aspects were pinwheeling and heavy. Moderate wind affect on the ridges. Got heavier and skier cut/compacted by lunch time.
Weather was partly clear and calm mid-mountain and down, dense cloud layer at the top with light flurries.
Resort was largely deserted by noon; no lines any time any where.

Except for the line when the gates dropped at Northway and the chair wasn't running because the upper bullwheel needed de-icing. So, other than that one 10-15 minute wait, no lines for sure. I would also describe the snow as consolodated more than un. Windpack and variable depth between nice and deep and whoa, couple inches on crust. Cut up solar aspects were fun on wide skis, but snow was definitely dense.
