16th of Alpental

easy riding today after offloading from the padded seats. kinda schnizzling from the clouds but not spirit diminishing early. l'internationalle rode nice on the right as usual and i groomed it to the best of my ability. nice light last day of ski school crowd, full mountain open for exploration.

Definitely a good one. If damp. Snowing really good on top after 3pm. Fresh tracks down Breakover at 4. Telemetry is showing 20cm fresh on top already. I think I may smell bad at class Tuesday night.

Got the opportunity to appreciate some friendly employees with bonus after-hours turns on the frontside of the 'yak. For a variety of reasons, I only managed to occupy the padded seats for the last 90 mins of their day, but what little I had was good. Snowing hard top to bar and open wall-to-wall with just a dozen or two diehard Alpentalics on the hill makes for fun times. Aforementioned shindig was great, it's nice to finally log some turns with friends who are always working on the weekend, even better when they're in a few inches of heavy new on top of rain-softened goo. Kinda like a flavorless slurpee, really.
