After six to ten inches of new snow, high winds, and warming, the Alpine never really opened up today. Lots of bombs were heard, and Peak Chair opened then shut - then opened and shut again. Harmony uncharacteristically opened after Peak - but didn't last long either. Symphony never opened at all. Got up early and caught the lift at 8:15 and got plenty of great powder in all my special non-Alpine stashes. Mid-Mountain warming around noon started making some mashed potatoes from part way down Ptarmigan on down. Upper mountain had perfect packed powder all day after the fluff got skied out. The trees never got skied out...Nice stuff in Emerald Trees and Club 21... Symphony and Flute will be the rewards of tomorrow!
