Crested Butte, March 2- More Pow!

CB has seen a lot of snow the last 4 weeks.  We had an epic 7 day or so storm cycle 3 weeks ago similar to PNW type high moisture snow. 

We typically have cold dry nights that tend to dry out and lighten the snow pack, so all was and is good. 

This weekend we had another nice 12-15 inch cycle of the dry stuff, so all in all, a good weekend for in-bounds skiing.  The BC is still a little sketchy:

Minor stuff, but the last photo title should have been R to L... Whetstone is on the far left, and the Anthracites range, center.  5 valleys converge in the CB area, so wide open vistas from town, the hill, etc.  Powder Magazine's ski town of the year.   Kind of neat...

Tony, I heard about the storm hitting CB and it sounded great. After Breck and Copper, we drove to Beaver and it was not our style and passed. Jill got a cold and it was drive time.
