Breckenridge is a Vail Resort member. With our Tahoe Value Pass we can ski with a senior lift pass for $57. The day pass rate at the window is $124. Can you believe it!
They have pay parking for $5 on M-Th and $12 on Fr, Sat, Sun. We got there at 7:30am and cooked breakfast in our camper, parked 30 feet from the gondola. Breck is big. This year they opened Peak 6, and have Peak 7, Peak 8, Peak 9 and Peak 10. Base is at 9,600' and summit at 12,998'. They receive 353” and have 20 lifts. The day started with sun, but it started snowing around noon and was heavy snow at 4pm.
We skied at Peak 7 and Peak 8 during our stay. Breck is packed with folks on the weekly vacation schedule. Everything is expensive. The Village of Breck is a shopper's paradise. The “shacks” are not in the area we skied. We skied the groomers and hit a mogul field by mistake. We will try another resort if the predicted powder arrives tonight.
