All lots full except F which was blocked off. Cars parked on the blvd . However, the lines were not that bad. With a bit of savvy, the worst was maybe 5 min. We skied from Northway trees to Hamburger and it all skied just ok. It is getting a bit clumpy and rutted about everywhere. Visibility was just ok. At times we retreated to the trees. The best of the day was the pitcher at the Naches Tavern. Still had fun.

Silver Basin was pretty good after the patrol opened the south backcountry. Though it tended to be "make a few nice powder turns, then zip across avalanche debris, then repeat."

Control work brought down a huge amount of snow on all sides of the King. The north side was almost entirely spanned by big crowns just below the ridge. People were pretty much avoiding that side.

My first day riding the lifts this season. You gotta start some time...
