Finally got a great Saturday morning in at East. Heavy, but bottomless pow greeted a great group of early birds chomping at the bit for their fix. Triple loaded right at 9, front face was tracked-out within the hour. HV cracked a little later and the snow back there was a skiff lighter, but by no means faceshot material. Lotsa fun was had hamstering runs through the trees. New drive in the HV double hauled a full load of butts all morning without issue. Crowd spread out well until 11, when the lines started to get longer. After 8 laps in 2 hours, we bailed to Alpental for the afternoon, where we bagged 4 laps through Elevator until chair2 was done for the day. 2/3 of our runs might have been at Hyak, but 2/3 of our vert was at Alpy - seems about right for a superb day in the pass.
Soup was the curry at Aardvark's, washed-down with a tallboy of vitamin R from the cooler.
