Decided to be nice and suffer another Saturday keeping BB company, questioned that decision when I pulled into the back end of the A lot “extra” early – but that was because of the biggest most massive sized Pay lot I’ve seen this year ( and they actually might have almost all showed up today). Jumped into the CHex line for what some folks would say was way too wacky early, but BB and other folks were around to socialize with, conditions in the lift line were pleasant enough and by 8:30 the lineup for CHex and the Bucket were pretty impressive. Started snowing early and kept snowing harder all day, the new was noticeably hamster deep as the day progressed and also kept improving the conditions on the runs we repeated. Gotta say first run down SunnySide felt firm and bouncy and hard on my quads, but as usual for my hamster world everything kept getting better. Big problems today – some early lift lines on REX till NW opened, nasty vis in open treeless areas most of the day, but that just allowed for more BP’s, OF(!), Doors and E runs. Went up HC and did a run out Hamburger – traverse was nicer than Hamburger, got one decent vis run down PB and the second time up we did the trees down to K2 and the old Chair 5 line – very nice with the knee deep on a hamster snow. I was extra nice to BB and went out to EH with him, all in all okay staying close to the trees on either side, I-5 was okay (did I whine – Yes) looked like all the drops down to I-5 from left and right angle were nice. Lower EH still had wood poking through the snow. Finished the day with another E run which was better than the first.

Other – Got excited when I was greeted with “Guess what?” Chick Noodle – really not, but it might be up in the next day or so, hopefully some will still be there on Monday. Heard the heli bombing out South today. Heard about big lines for the NW chair, based on the REX lines I would have guessed that. FQex and CHex had big lines at times. All the parking lots down to E were full. Heli was flying out of the Church area when I was leaving. Managed to bail before the masses left, so had a nice casual drive down

kept things chill around Henskin lake. Lots of natural crowns but no signs of instability on the treed slopes we were skiing. The size of the crowns were quite amazing and some were on small rolls in the trees like the one below
