nice saturday after a week of big snow. the next gen. of riders had some fun snow to train on today and lots of them showed up. i spent the entire day with at least one of my kids attached.
elevator bowl still riding fun, we are a lucky tribe.

Hey brother. Missed a lot these last few weeks with work and travel, though pleased to say I got some yesterday and today.

Was out with "my not so youngin' anymore" in Chair Peal Basin filming. We heard the late bombs and assumed it must be the cornices above the Nash traverse. As we skied out at 1 PM, no tracks from Pee Pass down other then the folks who toured up.

Any word if the Nash gate is gonna open???

When I asked some redcoats from the line for the padded seats about yesterday's big slides, they simply smiled and nodded their heads. When I asked what it would take to get the upper gate open they simply replied, "A lot. Not tomorrow."

So, probably tomorrow

Thanks! We heard that the 1st big bomb this morning ripped out a slide too the old Feb crust (so 10 feet basically).

10' crown reported on that one as it ran to the valley floor some 1,900 feet below.

Heard something about that today. Agreed, which is why we stayed on the lower flanks in safe zones.
