Yesterday's high expectations paid off this morning and the early (blue)birds were treated to clear skies above and a settled 1-1.5 feet below the padded seats of chair 2. Yesterday's reports of freezing rain kept the lift lines in the neighborhood of 5 min and while the snow was certainly manky and crusty down low, it softened throughout the morning and became (marginally) pleasant all the way to the bottom by midday.
While the snow wasn't anything like the blower we found on Sunday, it was good enough to send popular lines and folks wasted no time in doing that - with patrol claiming the first drop into Rollen before the chairs even loaded. Armstrong loaded at the stroke of 9:00 and ch2 30 minutes after that allowing for ample time to sample the conditions. After 4 laps up high and 2 top-to-bottoms, it was time to clock-out as I had to get a friend down to Redmond for some in-person job interviews
P.S. - Did anyone else hear that huge slide in the valley ~10:30am? Hoping it was control work, but I didn't hear a boom beforehand...

Hey now, I jockeyed my desk well into the night yesterday. While I planned to take a shorter work day to compensate for the 11 hours I put in on Monday, the estimated 60 mins across Rosellini's floating bridge at 7pm last night kept me at the keyboard until after 8.
For those of you who complain about how bad Seattle drivers are, you should spend some time on the gridlocked streets of Bellevue...
