Every bluebird day like the others. Perfect groomers top to bottom. Getting tired of fast groomers and frozen fingers and toes. I've skied here somewhere around 500 days and it's never been -15 and windy at the top. Negative 40 wind chills kept us on the Gondola's as much as possible.

Thanks for the report, heading up next week, just talked to the Crystal Mountain Ferks, but they did not get the brutal cold. Did you ski anything off piste on top? Sounds like next week will be a little more mellow on the temps.

Snow has got to be coming for you. Good luck!I skied the top of Peak to Peak yesterday despite warning signs about ice. It was Vermont boilerplate for 1500' down the ridge. I had just gotten my friend to get a $15 edge sharpen! He was dull half way down. Nobody is getting of piste even in the area. The bumps are huge and hard, and inconsistently frozen. The inch we got last week just hides frozen chunks. Backcountry right now would be the wrong thing to do. Everything is frozen and corn does not grow at -15 and windy.
