And the other half the story – Just checked the cams at 4pm, looks nice and sadly clear at the top, was snowing pretty nicely early afternoon, which didn’t seem to show up on the telemetry, but was noticeable on the slopes we had done earlier today, nice untracked hamster quality new and deep. Most of the day was cloudyish, good vis, great grooming, nobody around in our private ski area, inch or two new covering the off piste areas early, I got first load on HC at 9:40 (wow) and pretty fun first tracks down PB – did it a few times more and it skied a lot better today (versus yesterday). Vis most of the day was very nice, though early afternoon while it was snowing thought it was going like the last couple of days, but by the time I drove away the sky was clearing. Very nice day, snow quality should be good the next few days, with probably nice grooming.
Other – Big soup at CB lodge today, Triple C left overs (enjoyed by Ms LD) and the big bonus of the first of the Chicken Noodle batch – lots of vegys and chicken and noodles, not to salty, just right! Looked like the BLT was big again. No cookies today again – sad, the Sierra went nicely with my soup. Pay lot was massive (apparently the super computer that decides the size is having problems), no buses and not many cars in the pay lot, no parking lot attendants this morning meant that some folks had to park in the C lot, otherwise all the non-employee cars would have fit in the A lot. Fun day as usual, but very cold, wore extra clothes and my hood all day. Fun day with the D's.
