The telemetry didn't lie, a two foot storm total was waiting at the top for the powder-crazed hoards. But then the hoards didn't show, Armstrong loaded at 9 sharp and the padded seat inexpress immediately after. However, L'Internashionale was still roped off as was Rollen. Without a line for 2 many opted to stay high and enjoy the fluffy goodness blanketing the terrain within the terrain. As happenstance would have it, the rope across Nash dropped two hairs before 10 and it was on! Right line is still a frozen waterfall, but Adrenaline rewarded those willing to gain its entrance. Widowmaker was sent to waist deep landings as everyone anxiously awaited the opening of Snake Dance. Rumor has it Snakey D popped right after I departed at 11:30, but my legs were so cooked after pushing around the heavy snow down low it didn't matter.

Real country club vibe enabled a hat trick of laps beneath 2 and another hat trick of top to bottoms for my crew. Solid morning, feels good to be back!

EDIT: Corrected the date in the thread title. I seem to be stuck in some kind of eddy in the time-space continuum

Snake dance did open somewhere between 11:30 and noon. Multiple laps ensued. Enough snow now covering logs, rocks, etc. to lower caution but not totally eliminate it.

Fun day. Snow was layered so that made it a bit tricky but I aint complaining. Any snow is good at this point.

Hit Shot 6, but was reluctant to head down some of my favorite parts due to holes (was solo at that stage). Son then made it up and we did laps down Nash just as it opened Much better than yesterday.

Talked the bros hanging at Snakey at 1115......"maybe another hour was the response" and I had a 1 PM. Bummer. Son and I said maybe too "holey" glad to hear not bad.

Using the bad season scale, today was 9, perhaps even a 9+. Good season a 6 at best. HAHA.

Who cares??? Just fun to be skiing soft snow.
