Classic Crystal Mountain Shit Show, 2 feet of freshies to be had IF you avoided the masses in the mazes. Northway was particularly tasty for the first 3 runs. Skipped the soup, skipped the coffee and skied like a dazed hamster, never hitting the same line twice. Rumor has it PB was good, fresh on bumps, frontside wind affected, doors and windows like a mini snowboard terrain park, and Bear Pits in its prime. Hurray for lipslides and heelside trenches. Bummer the freeride comp got rescheduled, those kids could have hit some incredible lines on the Throne. Monday is shaping up quite well. At 6:50 b-Lot is nearly empty. Just the way I like it.
