highway closed while patrol bombed their routes kept the morning queue to a favorable number of friends. stories were shared as the snow piled up then at 9:00 the prayers were answered.

a handful of guests were loaded on the armstrong express, gliding upward towards the blessed padded seats. operations at the bottom of 2 appeared up to speed and without much delay the guests were taking the double to the top of Denny. Windy but my company blocked the breeze as i prepared myself for a slice of heaven.

L'international was in as good a shape as expected considering my crew was FIRST CHAIR of the season. minimal debris till bottom of adrenaline in the gut bit the wings were deep! lower was terrain within terrain as quoted from ACH but manageable.
this lasted till 10:30 when the masses got their go at it.
truly a gift opener that can only happen if you don't expect it.
my snow angel felt good today.
