January 9, 2013, Stevens Pass

Easy parking, no lift lines, very light wind, six good friends, comfy pickup camper lunchroom, small batch Kentucky bourbon, superb nachos, and soft 10" new powder made for the best day so far this season. Thanks to the local knowledge in our group we made fresh tracks all day. Finally the season begins!?

We had good skiing as well, but due to lack of local knowledge we did not ski fresh tracks all day, but we did have a good time.
